Hello everyone,
I wish to stay anonymous during this process but as you can take from the title of my blog I am going to be critiquing movies/films that come out. The thing is that I will usually only be critiquing films if I believe they are worthy of being seen at the midnight premiere. Now am I able to see every movie that I want to see at midnight/afford to see every movie I want to see at the midnight premiere? No, absolutely not; so some I will see after they come out, maybe a few weeks after they've come out because I am working on a college students budget.
Just a little bit about me is that I am in college and I am a Theater and Film Studies Major and I have loved movies/film ever since I was a child. I loved the idea of being whisked off to a totally different place in history, whether going into the past or future. Falling in love with characters, feeling total hatred for others and cheering on the hero to victory. I love the story that films can tell, and how many different types of stories they can tell, whether it be an action story, love story, or a good ol' fashion comedy. Now I believe that I am a little bit better then the average writer, but take into account that I am not the best writer ever. Yes I am at a college level, but this is suppose to be a bit more informal, not getting all technical with film vocabulary and everything like that, but just going to see a film and letting everyone know if I thought it was worth it to shell out the 8 bucks for a movie ticket.
